Apple-rice is very easy to make if you have a good strategy. This yummy meal is very good for baby breakfast.

There are three ways to make this yummy food, choose easiest for you. The first way is to cook a batch of rice and applesauce, freeze so anytime you want to make the meal just thaw, warm and blend. Another way is to have rice flour cook, add peeled diced apple while cooking let simmer for some minutes and blend.

The third is to cook it from scratch and puree. Suitable for 6 months upward.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup rice (brown or white rice)

1 small size red apple

Pinch of cinnamon powder

1/2 teaspoon butter/ghee or coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Soak rice for 8 hours or overnight. Peel and dice apple
  2. Rinse and cook on medium heat until semi-soft
  3. Add the apple and cook for some minutes or until well soft
  4. Add the oil you are using and puree for 6 months +  or mash for 8 months +
