Hey lovelies,

This weaning recipe is delish! I don’t have a baby, It was my older kids that ate the one I used in this photo they love it so much. I used the recipe when I weaned my baby, she’s 4 years now.

The ingredients in the recipe are ingredients you will find in your kitchen, they are easy to source if you don’t have them already.

If you are making this recipe for a six-month-old baby make sure you mash it well or puree it, for 7 months old upward you leave three to six potatoes, carrots, and plantain for it to have a chewing texture.

If you are a new mum and you don’t know how to start or where to start, no worries I have a digital book you can download. A Complete Guide to Starting Solids for a Baby answers all your questions about weaning. Click the link below to download the book https://kiddiesplate.com/product/complete-guide-to-starting-solid-for-baby/

I used my homemade baby spice in this recipe, you can use garlic, basil and ginger.

This recipe makes three serving you can freeze as another day’s meal. It will last one months in the freezer.
