This weaning recipe is delish! I don’t have a baby, It was my older kids that ate the one I used in this photo they love it so much. I used the recipe when I weaned my baby, she’s 4 years now.
The ingredients in the recipe are ingredients you will find in your kitchen, they are easy to source if you don’t have them already.
If you are making this recipe for a six-month-old baby make sure you mash it well or puree it, for 7 months old upward you leave three to six potatoes, carrots, and plantain for it to have a chewing texture.

I used my homemade baby spice in this recipe, you can use garlic, basil and ginger.
This recipe makes three serving you can freeze as another day’s meal. It will last one months in the freezer.
INGREDIENT
3 white potatoes
1 carrot
1/2 of a large plantain
2 cooked meat
2 tablespoon mixed pepper
1/2 teaspoon spice
2 tablespoons mixed pepper
200ml beef broth
HOW TO
- Peel and dice carrot, potatoes and plantain. Mince the meat.
- Pour the broth in a sauce pan and add the carrot, potatoes and plantain. Boil on a medium heat for 15 minutes or until very soft.
- Add other ingredients, leave on heat for 2 minutes. Mash or puree it.
- Put the remaining one in the freezer.
